This workshop includes an introduction to restorative Yoga and meditation.
The workshop takes place every 3 months on a Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm, and comes with a comprehensive printout.
Workshop fee: $50 for participation only

Better sleep & Relaxation - Intro to Restorative Yoga & Meditation
Do you wish to enhance your life's quality with better sleep & relaxation and learn some meditation techniques? Relaxation is one of the most powerful, yet simple ways to support our self-healing, to soothe mind and body, to refresh, renew, revitalize, rejuvenate.
You are most welcome to ask questions and share your experiences and goals, if you like. Learn about active and passive relaxation techniques and how restorative Yoga can help you to relax,
re-balance, restore good sleep and enhance your energy levels.
You will be introduced to various restorative Yoga poses, so hopefully you will find out which ones will work best for you. A deep guided relaxation of about 10 - 15 minutes will be part of the workshop as well. We will utilize live Tibetan Bowl sounds and other forms of sound healing.
We will explore a range of Meditation techniques and learn more about Meditation and why it is such a powerful tool. Some Yogic breathing and mindfulness techniques, Self-Reiki, Aromatherapy, Mudra and Mantra options will be offered as well.
Calmness, peacefulness, clarity and a feeling of connectedness or oneness with all life can result from taking some time out for meditation and deep relaxation and contentment can emerge as a great reward - even if we meditate only a few minutes per day for a start!
Yoga & Intuition is all about listening to our bodies, getting to know our current limitations, adjusting our practice accordingly and treating ourselves with an attitude of gentle kindness - like we would treat a precious loved one - and we will greatly enhance our overall well-being and well-feeling!
The Yoga & Qigong School of Sumner is a beautiful old hall in the heart of Sumner and for this workshop we will limit the number of participants to 8 to ensure best possible individual space and attention for everyone.
Mats are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Come in comfy clothes that allow you to move freely!
