Welcome to this easy stretching class, 75 minutes, intuitive and gentle with a challenging edge for healthy expansion. This is perfect for everyone, also for people completely new to Yoga, to get a taste of it's myriad of health benefits! The sessions will also provide a deep relaxation at the end of each class. I offer a holistic practice and each session starts with a 10 minute sequence of 'Yoga for the Mind'.
The word Yoga means 'union' of mind, body & spirit and that applies for us as individuals as well as for our union with the whole of creation.
I encourage the usage of intuition in practicing Yoga. This can greatly help with learning to listen to your body, gently adjusting the postures to your individual needs, enhancing your overall well-feeling, and supporting you to create a practice which becomes uniquely your own. Relaxation, conscious breathing and a good warm are always important components too.
